Nurse Consultant
Susan Mackintosh, RN
Ms. Mackintosh is our Nurse Consultant. She joins us following her recent retirement from a 30-year career in nursing. Her career roles have included Clinician and Instructor in ICU, and Emergency and Coronary Care. Additional work in Burn Care Nursing and Chronic Disease Management, specifically in Congestive Heart Failure, provide her with varied experience and a broad perspective. She also has a long history of community teaching. She brings to our team a special awareness of the needs of our clients. She is a major resource for this very important part of client care.

Lisa Shaw
Ms. Shaw joins us while in her ongoing capacity as Program Coordinator for an agency in Calgary that serves a disabled population. She has developed and facilitated many training programs for staff and clients involving sexuality, boundaries and relationship building. She was part of CASH (Coalition Advocating for the Sexual Health of persons with disabilities), and has worked with Planned Parenthood of Calgary, Calgary Communities Against Sexual Assault and The Calgary Birth Control Association. She has worked in the field of Sexuality and Disability for more than a decade and serves as our resource for those concerns.

Linda Ford
Ms. Ford is our editor and researcher. She has over thirty years experience in the medical field as a medical assistant, phlebotomist, transcriptionist and medical and sexual editor. She has had over 100 hours of course work in human sexuality, and has staffed the San Francisco Sexual Information switchboard.
